Research and Outreach Notice
How Privora handles voluntary diagnostics responses, outreach replies, and workflow feedback.
1. What this notice covers
This notice explains how Privora handles voluntary research responses, diagnostics submissions, outreach replies, and related feedback about privacy operations workflows.
It applies when you respond to a Privora research email, complete a diagnostics form, reply with workflow feedback, request beta consideration, or ask us to stop contacting you.
2. Why we collect research responses
We use research responses to understand real privacy operations workflows, identify recurring execution bottlenecks, prioritize product development, assess beta fit, and improve how Privora supports evidence, ownership, remediation, reviews, and reporting.
Participation is optional. You can use a plain diagnostics form, reply directly by email, ask for more context before participating, or opt out of outreach.
3. Data we may collect
We may collect your name, work email, organization, role, public professional category, current process stage, workflow pain points, current tools, impact level, desired outcome, and optional follow-up preference.
If you reply by email, we process the information you choose to include in that message. Please avoid sending confidential client information, secrets, passwords, raw personal data sets, or information you are not authorized to share.
4. Source of contact details
Some outreach contacts may come from public professional directories, regulator-published ecosystem records, public websites, referrals, direct submissions, event interactions, or previous business communication.
Where you ask us to identify the likely source of a specific outreach record, we will review the available campaign record and respond as accurately as we can.
5. Lawful basis and use
For voluntary research responses, we generally rely on your consent and the steps you take to participate. For limited business-to-business outreach, we may rely on legitimate interest where the contact details are professional, publicly available, relevant to privacy operations, and subject to clear opt-out.
We use the information only for product research, beta review, relationship management, outreach suppression, internal analysis, and security or compliance needs connected to Privora.
6. Sharing and publication
We do not sell research responses. We may process responses with service providers that help us operate forms, email, hosting, analytics, support, databases, and security systems.
We may use aggregated or de-identified insights internally. We will not publish attributable quotes, company-specific findings, or identifiable survey responses without permission.
7. Retention
We retain research responses for as long as needed to analyze product priorities, manage beta follow-up, maintain audit records, and respond to your requests. We periodically review research data and remove information that is no longer needed.
Unsubscribe and suppression records may be retained so we can honor opt-out requests and avoid contacting you again through campaign workflows.
8. Your choices
You can decline to participate, reply with only the information you are comfortable sharing, use a plain form link instead of a tracked campaign link, request deletion, correct inaccurate details, or unsubscribe from campaign emails.
For privacy requests, contact privacy@privora.ng. For general context about the research, contact hello@privora.ng.
